Biography
Chilean hardcore/punk foursome Fiskales Ad-Hok got involved in the local underground scene in the mid-'80s, right on time to join a growing number of new Latin rock acts. The band's name was taken from a public prosecutor who used to investigate transgressors to the military regime. Fiskales Ad-Hok became one of the leading punk/rock bands in Chile, characterized for lyrics based on controversial social issues. In 1990, the group had the opportunity to open for the Ramones, soon recording a self-titled album that was released in 1991. After signing up to BMG, Fiskales Ad-Hok issued 1995's Traga. Two years later, they participated in a compilation called Uno, which was released by C.F.A. (Corporación Fonográfica Autonoma), with "Campanitas" and "Incoherencias." In 1998, the band returned with Fiesta. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
