Biography

K. Gautier takes influences from the modern neoclassical, post-rock, electronic, and cinematic genres, and dreams of capturing an epic soundscape of tones. Kody began in collaboration with indie worship band Seeker & Servant, where he was able to help write two records, Into Your Love, I Go and You Alone Forever, as well as their latest EP Leaving Shadowland. He then went on to write his debut solo record The Prevailing, introducing a classical string quartet and self-authored poetry into his compositions. He has also completed a side project's debut EP Here Is Repose and sophomore EP Crux in collaboration with guitarist Jacob Bennett known as The Mountainous. Most recently, he has covered hymns alongside his brother Kristian and wife Shannon in a group known as Gautier & Co. Overall, his music seeks to illuminate the spiritual beauty of sound and experience, by drawing upon the innermost desires of the human heart and pointing to the source of hope, Jesus Christ.
