Jessarae (pronounced Jez-ah-rae) is an American singer-songwriter who was born into a family of professional sports and music. It wasn't long after he came into this world that he decided to put down the hockey stick and replace it with a microphone. At the tender age of nine, Jessarae passionately began writing songs; recording his first album at eleven, to baring his soul live in front of small and large crowds. Over the last fifteen years, Jessarae has shared a stage with John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Five Seconds of Summer, Matisyahu, Little Mix, Five for Fighting, Pat Benatar, Hey Violet, The Driver Era (formally known as R5), Chris Isaak—and the list goes on and on. At nineteen, Jessarae found himself in London, under contract with Island Records, playing large sold-out arenas as the head opener to selling out his own shows for joyous crowds singing every word of his songs. Jessarae has also faced several obstacles on his musical journey, but he's a big believer it's all about the learning that unfolds along the way.
