Biography
AWARD WINNING ARTIST THE WHOLE FAMILY LOVES! Michal Bush has been writing and performing songs inspired by children, the young at heart and her seaside community for almost a decade! After emerging on the New Zealand children’s music scene as one half of Christchurch duo Petite Music Box, she went on to create music and perform as solo artist ‘Music with Michal’. Michal writes fun, vibrant and meaningful songs with the intention of helping young children (and their adults) embrace the bright side of life. Best known for 'Kindness is Free' ‘Seagull Song’ and ‘Brave’, Michal’s catchy music has been featured on award winning RNZ podcast Moe Makes Music , sung in schools throughout the country, played on radio stations around the world, featured on the Home Learning Channel and turned into three fantastic children’s books. Her debut solo album ‘Can You Make Music?’, made with the support of Creative New Zealand, was released in 2020. Michal also writes music for her grown up audience as folk artist Michal Bush
