Biography
Finding something with a real emotional impact is important in a good artist. With each release, Houston Post Metal-core quintet Mirror Lake push the boundaries of what it means to have music that hits. The band collectively embrace each song, adding powerful elements to the tracks, while showcasing the true “sauce” of their soulful yet heavy sound. Giving way to what was arguably the best vocal performance on the hit YouTube series “No Cover”, vocalist Avery Clay’s Notes soar through the air during songs such as “Somber” or “Losing my Religion” a unique and ambitious cover by the band R.E.M, which garnered the band over 1 Millions streams, respectively. The band’s newest release is a beautiful work of art and storytelling. No emotion is left out of the anticipated 6 song EP.
