Richard Silva, better known under the stage name Swingfly (formerly also Richie Pasta or just Swing), is an American-Swedish rapper who was born and raised in the USA but also lived in Trinidad & Tobago and in Panama before he ended up in Sweden, where he has managed to leave his mark on the Swedish music scene for three decades. Swingfly is best known for his collaborations with pop-legends such as Teddybears & Robyn. He got his big break in 2004 when he did the song "Hey Boy" together with Teddybears. In 2006 came the single "Something's Got Me Started", which also became a hit. In the summer of 2008, his "Singing That Melody" was played extensively on the radio and was high on all sorts of charts. In 2009, the single "Touch and Go" was also a big hit. In 2009 he released the album God Bless the IRS. Swingfly participated in Melodifestivalen 2011 with the song "Me and My Drum". In 2016 he competed again in Melodifestivalen with Helena Gutarra and the song "You Carved Your Name". Now he´s back with "Fixin' Me" , his first newly released material since 2016. His typical laid back style, Swingfly delivers a new summer anthem, based around his own personal self development.
