Biography

Since debut Mosaic (2015) and follow up Wanderland (2017) Sue is on a roll, with her unique sound of happy melancholy, honing in on classics like Fleetwood Mac, The Smiths and other favorite artist/bands like The War On Drugs, Jeff Buckley, Haim, Arcade Fire. Sue the Night toured in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, played shows at festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Paaspop, Zwarte Cross, Concert At Sea. In 2019 everything was 'on hold'. First-time parenting, nurturing, growing into parenthood. 2020, Sue went back to writing, demo'ing and later on, in a quiet Amsterdam on evening clock, making pre-productions with bassplayer Jaimie van Hek. She gathered a new group of musicians the following year and went into the studio. The first single Oceans (You Might Go) is a song about new experiences and adventures, diving into the unknown.
