UNO Stereo is the genre-bending alter-ego of Grammy nominated, ARIA-Award winning, Australian record producer Nic Martin. His catalogue of collaborations both locally and internationally includes production on Khalid's multi-platinum debut album American Teen, DC rapper Wale's acclaimed 2019 release Wow... That's Crazy, electronic legend Destructo's 2020 anthem Bandz (feat. Yo Gotti, Kevin Gates & Denzel Curry) , UK legend Wiley, and hometown hero Kaiit. UNO has now teamed with rising alt-R&B star Amindi for “TEXT,” a 2020 take on the classic unrequited love song centered on that frustrating moment when they haven’t texted back. “TEXT” unfurls over a breezy, mellow beat inspired by classic records from Pete Rock & CL Smooth, A Tribe Called Quest and Guru’s Jazzamataz series. “TEXT” is the first in a wave of new music that UNO Stereo will release over the remainder of 2020, including a B-Side that will drop September 17.
