Biography

Piston is Jakarta's group consists of hard-hitting stomps that combine hard rock and punk with a dash of fierce rebellion that reverberates through the fence. Argi Tendo (vocal/guitar), Aditya Samdhoko (guitar), Yulio Onta (bass) and Oza Rangkuti (drum) composed the distinctive riff sound with such energy that it fills the place with boisterous shouts and rowdy crowds. After releasing their first album, 'Titik Nol' in 2017 via Sepsis Records and Lawless Jakarta Records, they gained a few following enthusiasts and toured all across the country, from the small beer-soaked club to some of the most significant open airs. The album was also nominated by AMI Awards for Best Rock Album in 2017 and participated in the 'Praise' soundtrack, a skateboard movie produced by Televisi Star from Bali, Indonesia. Piston released their newest single, 'Interval', on October 27 2021.
