Biography

Sitti is a multi-awarded, multi platinum-selling recording artist, songwriter, theater actress, blogger, and just recently, small business owner. Best known for her unique sound of Pinoy-flavored bossa nova, Sitti rose to fame via her double platinum-awarded debut album Café Bossa in 2006. She has since released several albums featuring mostly cover songs (Sitti, Live! 2006, MyBossaNova 2007, Ngayong Pasko 2008, Contagious 2009, Bossa Love 2013). In 2011, she collaborated with prominent OPM artists, notably Ebe Dancel and RJ Jacinto, for the album Sitti: Sessions which featured mostly original songs. In 2015, she released Singles Bossa Nova Trio, a live album which included a song she penned for her husband, Ligaya, as well as two other original songs. 2018 saw Sitti experimenting on entirely new ground when she released ElectroSitti, a purely electronic/dance album. In 2020, in the middle of the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, she penned and released her first inspirational recording, Tahan, which she says is her gift to all those who are going through struggles in these tough times. Happily married for five years to entrepreneur Joey Ramirez, they have been blessed with a very rambunctious toddler they fondly call Lilibubs. Nowadays, taking care of her toddler, running the Klim’s Chorizo business, and performing on online shows while trying to write songs are what keep her busy.
