Biography

Described as a musicians, musician, Allen's sound is built on a foundation of pop, rock, Americana, Roots and Blues influences. He has a soulful, whiskey-soaked voice and a striking gift for melody. He has never be content to be pigeonholed, as demonstrated by the eclecticism of his albums to date. Allen is a gifted lyricist and a true craftsman of song. His breakthrough came after he performed on BBC TV’s Later with Jools Holland. Since then he has toured extensively supporting many famous names including Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris. Allen's music has been globally successful with syncs in film, TV and advertising. He continues to tour with The Luna Kings, his band comprising some of the UK's leading session musicians. His new album ‘A Heightened Sense Of Everything’ is release on May 5th 2023.
