Biography
Tafia, an uprising rapper, songwriter and creative director from North Miami,FL is raising the bar and making a name for himself in the music industry. His super cool swag, raspy voice, and storytelling lyrics are influential, inspiring and relatable. The Florida native who is self taught, has been rapping for almost three years now; he began rapping while in prison by journaling, beat boxing, and repeatedly harmonizing instrumentals that played in his head. This helped Tafia to grasp the craft of songwriting and spitting catchy, fire lyrics in addition to perfecting his artistry. “I started writing in prison. I kept on writing and writing until I got good at it. I then started rapping against other people in jail with me and I kept getting better and better. When I finally got out, I had access to rap over beats. I had to keep going, practicing until I found my voice, my flow. I perfected my craft after that,” said uprising rapper, Tafia.
