Biography
Greg LaFollette (luh▪︎Fall▪︎it) Greg LaFollette is a musician and producer in Kansas City. He is the resident artist at The Culture House, a non-profit conservatory of the arts committed to contributing beauty and truth to the world. LaFollette has been involved in more than one hundred records in his career. He has worked with Andrew Belle, Katie Herzig, Matthew Perryman Jones, Waterdeep, and many others; and has amassed over 2 million streams on Spotify. His music has been used in tv shows, international advertising campaigns, and can commonly be heard in Starbucks and Anthropologie. Known for his vulnerable and veracious vocal approach, simple and effective production, and beautiful melodic sense; LaFollette wants his music to be a comfort and companion. His most recent record, Ghosts & Empties, is a collection of acoustic cover versions of beloved songs by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Wilco, Paul Simon, and The Killers. These sacred arrangements are concentrated into sparse, emotionally impactful mostly-one-mic performances; leaving LaFollette little to hide behind. If vulnerability is the birthplace of connection, expect to be tethered to this record for a long time.
