Biography
Andrew Laparra grew up in Rochester, NY, and spent most of his childhood into adulthood overseas in Central America. He began singing southern gospel with his 3 older brothers at the age of 8. As the years passed, Andrew excelled in performing vocally, playing piano, guitar, and other instruments. Andrew learned vocals from his mother and continued learning how to play piano by ear from the one and only Roger Soloman who had opportunities to play with legends such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. In 2009, Andrew was struck with severe stage fright and anxiety whenever singing in front of others. This was in part due to childhood trauma but also his continued battle with several autoimmune diseases. Fortunately, this hasn't taken away from Andrew's passion for music. He continues to write and record music out of his home studio. To this day, Andrew does not perform any live shows or play in any live bands but thrives in a studio environment making music at his pace and leisure.
