Coenie de Villiers is a singer-songwriter-pianist from South Africa. Know in his motherland as an Afrikaans artist because he sings mostly in that language, he is equally at home in English. In his professional career of over forty years has has won numerous prestige industry awards for is recordings and live performances. He is also a broadcaster and academic in the area of media studies. He began his recording career with the Mountain Records label in 1981 and went on to record over a dozen records for other companies and has also released productions he produced himself.
