Biography

Grace Harriet is an indie folk singer/songstress from Northern California, a place that deeply influences her music and lyrical styles. Combining folk, rock influences, and relatable lyricism, Grace performs music that encourages an audience to discover beauty in every emotion and experience. Grace shares her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Boston, MA where she is studying songwriting at Berklee College of Music. Early on, Grace was exposed to artists such as Joni Mitchell and Simon & Garfunkel which inspired her to begin creating music. These influences have expanded to musicians such as Big Thief, Elliot Smith, and Brandi Carlile. Throughout her teens, Grace independently released multiple projects under the artist name “Blovey,” including a full-length EP. Since closing that chapter, Grace has been collaborating with many of her peers to create the Grace Harriet project. Grace Harriet’s debut six-song EP is scheduled to be released May 2023. She frequently performs around Boston and California both as a solo act and with her five-piece band consisting of guitars, drums, bass, and pedal steel.
