Biography

Julian started writing and singing at a young age, touring professionally in the 80’s and early 90’s. He also wrote (and staged) three original stage musicals. After a long break for work, family and health reasons, Julian launched a new music career in early 2020. Since then Julian has released 13 major singles (and some minor ones) with about half a million streams across all platforms, has had several songs on BBC Radio and is currently working hard on new songs, hopefully releasing every 6-7 weeks during 2022, with cover songs released inbetween. Julian's latest original single, The Way I Fall, is a dark, emotional piano ballad. The artist name Jacre (pronounced JAYKER) is based on the sound of Julian’s initials, JKR. Julian has a loyal, fast-growing following over on Instagram and Facebook where he posts regularly, including snippets of tracks he's working on.
