Biography
Alternative electropop artist Jordan LaCore combines her haunting vocals with powerful bass and rhythm for irresistibly emotional songs in the tradition of artists like Halsey and Chvrches. Jordan began her music career in Houston but always felt her heart drawn to NYC where she now resides. She grew up listening to emo/pop punk acts such as Moose Blood, All Time Low, and Sleeping with Sirens, and in the same manner, her honesty and emotional expression comes through her words and melodies. Her music is raw and authentic with ethereal vocals that pair with dark lyrics. Blending Ellie Goulding and Billie Eilish, Jordan’s music fuses both hard and soft melodies in perfect equilibrium. Creativity has always been a part of Jordan’s life; from 15 years in a ballet studio with a focus on performance and classical music, to a later discovery of journaling and poetry. This then turned into an inspiration to sing, and bring to life what she writes. Jordan continues to challenge herself to express the thoughts that lie within all of us, hoping to mirror the inner experience of her listeners with her frankness. With multiple collaborations with YouTuber TryHardNinja which helped expose her sound, as well as her debut single with producer Haak “All I Want” she is currently developing new material in collaboration with Haak that speaks more closely to her current esthetic and viewpoint. Jordan LaCore is on an artistic journey that you’ll want to be a part of.
