Biography
Chad Neidt is a musician based in Denver, Colorado. He started out creating songs to make his friends laugh, then thought it would be cool if he could make strangers laugh too, and sometimes, he actually did! Other times, when he didn't, he questioned everything. Eventually, Chad started releasing music via YouTube during the great YouTube gold rush of 2009-2013. His 1 Minute Mashups - Volume 1 series took off in 2012, getting him live spots on The Tonight Show, ESPN, CNN, and video features on Buzzfeed, Reddit, The Today Show, and many other outlets. In 2014, Chad released his first album of original songs titled Am I Doing This Right? The album was a mixture of satirical diddies and heartfelt melodies that covered the hilarity of living in Los Angeles ('What About Me?'), Die Hard (John McClane), delusions of being honest with himself ('Breakthrough'), and the purgatory of figuring out how much a person likes you before committing to a relationship (Make Sure It's for Sure). 5 songs include Chad's lifelong friend Jonathan Schwartz playing mandolin and beat-boxing. The album was funded by his irrelevant Kickstarter Song and engineered in the old Sound City complex in Van Nuys, CA by Troy Hardy. In 2016, Chad pretty much fell off the musical grid to pursue a new career editing unscripted television in Denver, CO. He met his now wife and started a new musical venture called Spring Hubris, which released it's first single 'White and Boring' in May 2020.
