Elan Noon has undergone myriad transfigurations since first materializing in 2017—accumulating a variety of work skirting around traditional pop, folk, and jazz idioms. Their latest single "Incorrigible Youth" was preceded by 2022 album Caricature, which explores the bounds of lower recording fidelity to a point of cheerful absurdity. Comprising songs recorded on deteriorating tape machines and antiquated microphones, Caricature is home to a pocketful of meandering existential quandaries – all coalescing in an uncompromisingly eerie and melancholic soundscape. ⏳Drummer/keyboardist of the exanimate Jons.
