Biography
Fredrika Stahl invites us into a world that is at once mysterious, epic, romantic and light-infused, just like her latest single Rescue Me, in which a Scandinavian breeze flirts with the fire of of a resolutely modern pop sound. Combining the vocal prowess of the likes of Kate Bush, dream pop that reminds us of Bat For Lashes or The Dø and a musical elegance similar to Agnes Obel’s, Fredrika’s new single is captivatingly sincere, touched with fervor and fantasy that promises to stay with us. New album due in March 2021... 2010, Fredrika scored a hit with her album Sweep Me Away, boosted by the success of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star - Musique de la publicité Nissan Juke / Music from the Nissan Juke Commercial Spot . 2013, the Swedish artist met up with producer Rob Ellis, a man who loves women of taste (he is known for his work with PJ Harvey, Marianne Faithfull and Anna Calvi ). Together they recorded her fourth album Off To Dance . A delicate, gracious record empowered by its inspired composition and that sensitivity that characterizes Scandinavian songwriters. 2015, Fredrika wrote her first original soundtrack to the award-winning, globally acclaimed film, Tomorrow ( Demain (bande originale du film) [Version intégrale] French title), by Cyril Dion and Mélanie Laurent .
