Biography

Mr Koo is the indie / alternative rock band led by vocalist / guitarist Ollie Rodgers. The group reinterpret surf rock through their own lens, blending blue notes and dreamy chords with a psychedelic kick. Soulful vocals mixed with playful melodies bridge the music between multiple genres. The band have stayed busy over the past few years cementing their name in Hong Kong’s indie scene, leading up to their performance at Clockenflap Festival 2023. Since the Mr Koo project began back in 2017, the group have had multiple releases, the latest being the album “Head in the Clouds” recorded in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong.
