Biography

Tomii Chan is a singer-songwriter and producer from Hong Kong, known for his memorable melodies and soulful guitar. Tomii has released two solo albums, 'Arrays' (2017), 'Not A Good Day to Die' (2018) and three EPs, 'Replay' (2020), 'Grow' (2022) and 'Train of Thought' (2023), each with distinguished styles that demonstrate his musical versatility. His latest single, 'live better' and EP 'Train of Thought', were featured as cover for Spotify’s +852 Rising playlist. Tomii previously co-founded three bands, Tri-deuces, Stranded Whale and Fds/4eva, which have collectively toured across Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and China. Stranded Whale played at the 2018 Clockenflap Festival (Hong Kong), as well as the Chiayi Wake Up Festival (Taiwan) in 2016 and 2018. This year, Fds/4eva opened for Sunset Rollercoaster’s tour in Hong Kong Star Hall. In 2020, Tomii joined Kimberly Road Union and released an well-acclaimed EP Kimberly Farm in the same year. Tomii has also produced music for a diverse slate of artists that include Serrini, Gwenji, and Jonathan Yang. He has scored music for films such as Triumph in the Skies, Overflow, Till it Blooms and Cinema Quietude. Tomii also co-founded the Gloomy Island Blues Festival in 2018 with photographer Bebebop, held annually to promote blues music in Hong Kong.
