Biography

Shortly after releasing his first DIY-approach solo album Wingman Returns, Diederik Nomden started writing songs for his follow up record: Parallel Universe. His self-chosen isolated method of working had proven to be wholesome in several ways, and Nomden spent a good deal of 2020 and 2021 recording and producing the songs that would ultimately form the unity that became Parallel Universe. At a certain age, most people come to terms with the that fact some choices have definite consequences, and so did Nomden. The songs on his new album revolve around the central question: 'What if....?' On Parallel Universe, the listener can sate himself upon rich melodies, sweet harmonies and warm sounds that are reminiscent of the late sixties and early seventies.
