Biography
Indie-pop two-piece 'Tin Pigeons', hailing from the East Midlands, have been acclaimed as “One of the best Festival bands around” by notable tastemakers BBC Introducing & more. After the duo conquered major festival stages such as Reading & Leeds, Boardmasters, 110 Above & more. With a unique and colourful sound, Tin Pigeons will be sure to drag you in with their infectious music. After the release of their debut EP ‘Sparks’, Tin Pigeons quickly received national recognition when their single was named as BBC Radio One’s Introducing ‘Track of the Week’ - and subsequently in recent years gaining huge support from household names such as Huw Stephens, Annie Mac, Greg James, Steve Lamacq & more. Since then they have gone on to successfully release multiple singles which have once again caught the attention of major radio, the 2019 single ‘You’re No Fun’ had numerous plays on BBC6 Music with Jack Saunders. Recent single ‘Closer’ was further championed by top taste-makers across BBC radio. Having played well over 500 shows developing a community of loyal fans. Having supported the likes of OUTLYA, Fickle Friends and Billie Marten (to name a few) Tin Pigeons are frequently on the road, taking their high energy and uplifting performance across the whole country. Having recently finished another UK Tour with the majority of shows at sell out, Tin Pigeons have surely become one of the hardest working bands on the UK’s live circuit, with their show becoming a must see.
