Biography

Nottingham and Manchester based indie - Stan Buckroyd is making himself heard in the UK indie scene. 
 The 20 year old is proudly still an independent artist, getting headline slots at iconic grassroots venues such as Deaf Institute Manchester; and The Bodega Nottingham. He puts copious amount of time into his lyrics, delivering deep and meaningful narratives of what's going on inside his confusing mind. Taking heavy influence from his idols such as Alex Turner, to create interesting and witty lyricisms to express his strong feelings on a plethora of social topics. His unique yet familiar sound has been compared to Sam Fender and DMA’S, whilst his voice, is often mistaken for a young Van Mccan. Stan has also gained some recent traction with BBC introducing: with their support he is now set to play The Quarry Stage at YNOT Festival 2023! The second biggest stage of the festival at 3000 capacity - not bad for a kid who played his first gig not even 2 years ago. He has described himself as: “Another Liam Gallagher fanboy turned solo artist, with his own thoughts and opinions stretching further than cigarettes and alcohol.” Stan Buckroyd is certainly one to watch.
