Jewel Owusu is a half Filipino and half Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer, hailing from the vibrant city of Hong Kong. Raised in New Zealand and Perth, she is now based in Melbourne, Australia. Jewel is a genre-bending force, blending alternative pop, dance, indie, hip-hop, and R&B to create her own unique sound. Her singles "Blue" and "American Honey" garnered significant attention, becoming top tracks on RTR FM. Jewel has collaborated and opened for acclaimed artists such as Vera Blue, Methyl Ethel, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Adrian Dzvuke, Supathick, and more. Her music has caught the ear of MTV Australia, Triple J, Edge Radio, RTR, FBI Radio, 4ZZZ, Triple R, and numerous other platforms. In 2022, she won Triple J Unearthed's Collaboration Competition. Jewel is set to captivate listeners with her highly anticipated EP, "Jool Wave," scheduled for release in 2023/24. This EP represents the culmination of her carefully crafted sounds, defining her unique musical identity.
