    Biography

    I am Victor Vernicos, a singer – songwriter from Greece. My musical influences are from artists like Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Coldplay, but also a lot of blues, jazz, soul and even hip-hop/rap artists, like BB King and J. Cole. My love and passion for music started from an early age. I started taking piano lessons at the age of 4, started taking vocal lessons when I was 8, guitar at 10 years old and did one year of music technology when I was 13, only a year after I started producing my own music, in May of 2019. Since 11’ I’ve been writing songs consistently as much as possible to sharpen my craft. In 2021 I started to release my own songs (which I have written, produced, performed, and mixed myself), while in 2023 I signed my first contract with a record label (Panik Records) and I was selected to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with a song I wrote and produced, called “What They Say”. I feel that I have something inside myself to offer via my music from within my heart and soul and hope that when my music is listened to, it provides a new door open musically to people and a safe space for them to express themselves and spend some time with whenever. My message is LOVE.
