From the midst of Melbourne’s underground alt-rock scene, the raw wall of sound that is Among The Restless is making itself well and truly heard. Raised on Rock n’ Roll and fascinated by the Australian indie-alternative rock sound, ATR fuse both the old and new to create their own personalised take on guitar-driven music, whilst still maintaining a modern sensibility. Comprised of Rhett James (Lead Vocals), Lachie Dunn (Guitar/Vocals), Seamus Glenn (Guitar), Jaidyn Hale (Drums) and Josh Marra (Bass), the energetic five-piece come from all corners of Australia. The ATR journey officially began late 2019, and their sheer talent is recognised in the band’s push to pay homage to Alt/Indie and rock giants like Nothing But Thieves and Foo Fighters, whilst maintaining what can only be described as their own unique sound. Among The Restless have already begun to storm the Melbourne scene and captivate audiences with their hard hitting sound and commanding performances. The band have recently landed two whirlwind festival slots in Mebourne, at Good Things Festival supporting the likes of Bring Me The Horizon and Deftones as well as Uncaged Festival, supporting Wolfmother and You Am I. Whilst the band remains undefined in terms of sound and musical boundaries, there is one thing which remains true; Among The Restless are a force to be reckoned with and a band to keep your eyes on.
