Biography

Javailin is an American singer-songwriter, raised in a small town in Texas with a population under one thousand, her only form of exit and expression was through music. The Christmas before turning 13, she was gifted a ukulele, and five months later she was playing in front of her entire junior high. The freedom found in being able “to actually do something,” Javailin never stopped chasing the path that the arts provided. “Sifting my way through childhood and the edge of adulthood is almost unbearable to look back on. I am thankful for what my family had provided for me, to be able to keep me on a good enough path- school and everything it brought on the other hand destroyed me, and veered me off too many times to count, really." She explains, "I felt like until I got out of what was a physical and mental prison, only then was I able to truly find out who I am, and what is representative of my heart. I felt the special formatting of words to be the strongest, most meaningful way to combat issues that come from simply getting older. We all go and grow through it, and to be there vocally, maybe not physically for others, is all I wanted some one to be for me. I’ve decided to spend my life being that, for whoever needs it.” She has spent from 2017 to now, turning experiences into a few minutes at a time of indie-alternative-bedroom-rock-type stories, love letters and symphonies of her own- and while doing it all with producer Will Carmack, and herself independently.
