Biography
Jordan Kwesi Boris Suffian Pennaneach, known in showbiz as “Juma Mufasa,” is a Ghanaian Afro-Alternative artist. He grew up in Gbawe, a suburb of Accra, where he developed enthusiasm for music, fine arts, street fashion and culture. Juma Mufasa is a diversified singer-songwriter who possesses the rare ability to bend genres, and communicate his emotions effectively with his lyrics. Influenced by Salif Keita, Pierre Akendengue, Michael Jackson and Kendrick Lamar, Mufasa's music is relatable, genuine and stems from his experiences as an ordinary youth. Mufasa is committed to making music that resonates with young people on the path to finding themselves and aspiring to become the best versions of themselves. In pursuit of a career in music, Juma Mufasa made his announcement to the world on a 2018 Marince Omario song called “Barisujey.” Since then, he has over 10 singles, an EP and a myriad of features including works with Freddie Gambini, Tulenkey, Yn The Afropikin, Essilfie amongst others. Juma Mufasa has performed at major concerts in Accra, and is steadily making waves within the growing alternative community in Ghana.
