Biography
Born Prince Tetteh, Marince Omario is a Ghanaian musical creative based in Accra. He merges music from various genres he listened while growing up into his own distinct style he terms FU He released his official debut EP Oblitey and a follow up Tsotsoo, both in May and October 2020 respectively. These projects are an ode to his roots and upbringing, paying homage to his grandparents Oblitey and Margaret Tsotsoo. He properly introduced FU on these projects featuring his collective mates Asquad on Oblitey and Black Sherif and Chief Kellz on Tsotsoo. He again released Ju Leebi in 2022; a project which translates to Monday morning in his native Ga and expresses the hustle of the youth in Ghana. He released Moni ft Panji Anoff & The Kusun Ensemble and Chacha later that year. Marince Omario created an annual concert dubbed Gbonyo Party held every Farmers' Day (first Friday in December) since 2021 onwards featuring performances by Wanlov, Baaba J, The ART, Black Sherif, $pacely among others Marince Omario has performed at; Asquad Presscon 19 and 20, We dey Street (Chale Wote), Merchmania 2k, La Même Gang's Crusade 5, Worlafest, Manifestivities and Mozama Disco.
