Biography

ASKYA is the solo project of Tom Boerema, a singer-songwriter from the small surf-town of Margaret River in Western Australia. Having spent the last few years living between Switzerland and Australia, teaching himself music production, ASKYA has developed an ability to write and produce music in a number of genres which are reflected in his two other projects Claremont and Salt Tree. ASKYA won the Triple J Drop Festival competition in 2019, sharing the stage with Angus and Julia Stone among other artists, and recently played alongside Crooked Colours and Set Mo. ASKYA is currently releasing his debut acoustic EP and has an electronic EP in the works.
