Euskarazko tradiziozko abesti zaharrek sorgindurik, 2007ko udaberrian abiatu zen gerora KHERAU boskote bizkaitarra izango zenaren plazaz plazako ibilbidea. Tradizio eta berrikuntza uztartzeko asmotan, lehenengo urratsetatik mantendu izan dute herri kantutegi eta propio sorturiko abestien arteko oreka, betiere, lehenengoei interpretazio garaikidea ematen dietelarik eta bigarrenetan pop edo rock estiloko egiturak jorratzen dituztelarik nazioarteko jatorrizko hainbat musika-tresna ibiliaz ----------------- KHERAU started its career as a quintet in May 2007, delighted by the old traditional Basque tunes. Since then, the band has made an attempt to keep on both with traditional songs and own compositions, always, charming the former ones with contemporary interpretations and mixing up their own songs with rock and pop styles as they use several international musical instruments. ------------ El quinteto vizcaíno KHERAU comenzó su trayectoria en primavera del 2007, atraídos por canciones populares y melodías euskaldunes. Desde un principio han mostrado su interés por mantener un equilibrio entre temas propios y canciones populares, dando un toque contemporáneo a estos últimos y creando al mismo tiempo temas propios cercanos al estilo pop-rock, con la ayuda de diferentes instrumentos musicales tradicionales tanto vascos como de otras culturas.
