Biography

FUAD is a Malaysian Alternative Indie sibling duo from the (super) quaint suburbs of Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. Despite the varying tastes in music and 10-year age gap between Lisa Fuad and Arief Fuad, they found a (very) thin line of similar influences and decided to share their music to the world. The range of their genres vary but they lean more towards Alternative Rock, Dream Pop and Indie Folk. They recently released their debut album 'Dispositions', a culmination of tracks with a 'coming-of-age' theme encompassing songs that talk about adventures in life, dealing with loss, as well as personal & social struggles coming into adulthood. Their musical influences stretch from Lisa’s love for Simon & Garfunkel, Neutral Milk Hotel, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Slowdive, and Elliott Smith to Arief’s appreciation for Muse, Alvvays, Camera Obscura, Devics, and Priscilla Ahn.
