Biography
SLIM JIMZ are a five-piece psych rock band with a distinct Aussie flavour. The Sydney boys have been compared to local legends Lime Cordiale and Ocean Alley, with an injection of influence from global sensations Arctic Monkeys, Pink Floyd and Oasis. The JIMZ’ debut EP Sky Turns Blue recently caught the attention of Triple J, with Back Row being blasted across the nation during Home & Hosed and Tongue Tied earning strong reviews from presenters Declan Byrne, Lachie Pringle and Dave Ruby Howe. Dave put it perfectly when he said “You can picture the heat rising off these boys and their instruments after smashing this one live”.
