Always Grounded is a blast from the past sprinkled with modern influence. Every song hits you with the force of a Mike Tyson uppercut of emotion, earning them a spot in Alt Press as one of 13 bands reclaiming Pop Punk in 2021! Always Grounded has variety in their pop punk style, with slower emotional songs like Day by Day and harder mosh pit worthy songs like Letters To My Youth. 
 
 Singer/amateur wrestler RJ Dionne started Always Grounded with his brother Eli as an acoustic project. After releasing their first EP, the duo decided it was time to take it seriously and transform into a full band. RJ recruited guitarist Jude Alexander after meeting at a Hot Topic in 2015. Later the band met bassist Ian de Chantal (2022) and drummer Anthony Daily (2021), finalizing their line up. The outfit shares one common belief: That through all differences, music can bring everyone together. This mindset is a theme that carries out throughout the bands lyrical style, creating a sense of solitude the listener can find within all of their songs. 
 
 On February 25th, 2022 the band released a cover of Say Anything's "Death For My Birthday"! The group is ambitious and set out on touring relentlessly and making an impact on fans, creating a sense of community and home for the weird and wonderful.
