Biography
The Florida-born artist, Thomas Sanders, first came onto the scene on Vine in 2013, then moving on to YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, gaining a wide audience, at times combining his love of light-hearted comedy with his passion for singing. With the help of musician Jacob Fjeldheim, he debuted an original touring musical, Ultimate Storytime, which included popular songs like "Birds" (performed by Terrence Williams, Jr.) and "Anything" (performed by the whole cast). His original song "What Did You Do To My Heart", co-written by friend, Joan, became a large hit on Youtube and Spotify, followed by another partnership song, "On the Borderline". He also is known for his musical collaborations with musicians, dodie and Miss Benny, including dodie's original song "dear happy". He also collaborated with Jon Cozart on the comedic Disney-themed song, "Gay Disney Prince". Additionally, Thomas is known for a number of Disney-themed mash-ups, including "I Won't Say I'm in Love", "Villain Mash-Up", and "Friendship Mash-Up". Thomas' original YouTube series, Sanders Sides, also features a number of original songs that went on to becoming popular among his audience, including "Rhythm Redux", "Forbidden Fruit", and "The Puzzle Song". His desire with his future of song-writing is to find ways to create pieces that resonate with audiences in a light-hearted way, mixing pop vibes with storytelling through emotionally honest lyrics.
