Biography
Check out ESSENTIAL: Eyelar for an introduction to Eyelar, featuring the latest releases, collaborations and more! Emotive and honest lyrics that explore deepest inner feelings and sexuality are the backbone of rising new London-based artist Eyelar. Originating from The Netherlands, Eyelar comes as a well-established song writer whose catalogue boasts the likes of Charli XCX, Little Mix and Bastille. Amongst her plethora of writing credits is the emotional comeback song ‘Anyone’ for Demi Lovato, which she performed at GRAMMY Awards. Eyelar spent the first couple years sharpening her pen and collaborating with pop and alternative artists. She has worked with the likes of Fred Gibson (Ed Sheeran, Headie One), David Stewart & Jessica Acombar (BTS, Jonas Brothers, Griff) and Matt Schwartz (Yungblud, Halsey). In December 2018, Eyelar released her first artist collaboration with rising UK Rap Star Yxng Bane on a track named “Breakfast” which showcased her highly emotive vocals on a deeply reflective ballad. This was followed by a number of solo releases throughout 2019 and 2020. In August 2021, Eyelar released her latest collaboration “Dopamine” with Purple Disco Machine (Dua Lipa/ Lady Gaga)- it became an instant success on streaming platform and it also spent 4 weeks at No1 in the German national radio airplay chart. Eyelar also toured with L Devine across the UK as well as selling out her debut Headline show in Camden, London. Look out for new music soon!
