Empowering rock- and punk influenced popmusic with a punch to it🤘🏼💖 To Dutch singer/songwriter Daimy Lotus (she/her), music is therapy. She is a very soft and open person but with an edge to it, which you can hear both in her lyrics and her music. Since early childhood Daimy has been involved with music, singing and dance. Even at the tender age of five she could be found performing at the yearly cultural market in her home town. In 2009 she decided to pursue a career in songwriting as well. Themes she writes about are heartbreak, mental health and self growth. After writing songs and performing them for her solo project for several years, she decided to focus on writing for other artists as well (2017). Therefore she has worked with a variety of songwriters, producers and artists in- and outside the country. Daimy has songs out with ao Markus Schulz, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Paris Hilton, Phuture Noize and Julian Jordan. Thanks to these collaborations, she has performed on some of the biggest stages in the Netherlands like Defqon1 and a sold out AFAS Live. Daimy’s top priority right now, next to writing for others still, is her solo project. Expect catchy rock- and punk influenced pop songs with a bite in a space where there’s no room for hate and judgement and where everyone can be their authentic self.
