Biography

21-year-old Singer-Songwriter Leslie Perez, a Twin Cities native, came onto the scene last year, sharing her soulful voice with the world after her whole life changed.  She discovered her love for music at an early age and dreamed of making her own. She first started singing publicly at her local church in Saint Paul at age 11, where her faith-based roots developed, but she never thought the world would hear her voice.  After a period of adversity, while studying Pre-Law in college and on the verge of applying to law school, Leslie felt God was calling her to pursue her true passion, music. She has since released two EPs and has toured across the West Coast. Leslie’s unique sound is a blend of influences such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, Olivia Dean, and Yebba, attracting attention from outlets such as The Gospel Coalition and Forward Message with Jordan Feliz on Sirius XM The Message. Her most recent project, “House of Healing,” features her most compelling writing yet, with timelessness and authenticity in every lyric with songs like “Mountain Top” and “Cycles.”
