Biography

Formed in their Nashville apartment in early 2017, Danni Sontag and Devin Garcia created their alternative rock band, False Indigo. Inspired by bands such as Porcupine Tree, Young The Giant, and Death Cab for Cutie, the pair wrote their first song together, “Passing,” which was released as their very first single in 2018. After an unplanned hiatus due to COVID-19, False Indigo is now thrilled to announce the upcoming release of their debut album, Nothing More Than Strangers. This album enlisted the help of Andy Prince (Manchester Orchestra) on bass guitar and was produced and mixed by 10-time Grammy Award winner, Joe Chiccarelli (White Stripes, The Killers, The Strokes). Needless to say, they can’t wait for you to hear what they have been working on for so long. False Indigo’s next single, “Haunting,” will be streaming on April 28, 2023!
