Biography
Based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, indie rock trio Bel Heir worked under the moniker Find Vienna for over five years before changing their name in 2013. Made up of Ian Walsh on keyboards and brothers Paul and Patrick Mancel on bass and guitar/lead vocals, respectively, the core trio worked with various drummers in both live and studio settings as they found their sound, leaning on classic alternative rock influences for a slick and guitar-heavy songwriting palette. They spent the entirety of 2014 self-releasing two singles a month online, gaining new fans from both their growing catalog of material and tours with bands like Sir Sly and Magic Man. They eventually inked a deal with RCA Records, which worked with Bel Heir toward the release of their debut album, Philadelphia English, slated for release in late 2017. ~ Fred Thomas, Rovi
