Biography

I'm the son of two Rwandan Immigrants who moved to the United States soon before the genocide that hit the country in 1994 and I've been making rock infused R&B music in the city of Minneapolis. Through the course of the past few years, I have steadily been building a name for myself for my ability to combine influences that have been apart of this generation's popular music, crafting a sound inspired by Brit Rock of the 90’s infused with the smooth R&B sounds that captured souls of the world in the early 00’s. Fresh off the release of my debut album ‘Postcards I Forgot To Send’ (August 2020) I played multiple shows across the United States and Mexico in the past year including an appearance on Vans Channel 66, collaboration with Rosedale Mall, and a sold-out show in my hometown at the Palace Theater. Recently, I have created a super-band in DNM with DeCarlo Jackson of Hippo Campus, Nael, and legendary twin cities drummer Joey Hays with two singles released in 2021. Having also received features as on the viral avant-garde youtube channel COLORS STUDIO, WARP Magazine, Kalblut Magazine, The Current and Earmilk, the upcoming release of my latest full-length effort, ‘We Survived Storm’, will be sure to make some noise in 2022.
