Biography

SVDESTADA is a musical project formed in 2017 by some old acquaintances of the scene, such as khmer, teething, this thing called life or nightshot. They borrowed the name from the cold winds that goes through the Río de la Plata just before the arrival of winter, and as dragged by them, their music travels from the fiercest crust-punk, across the amplitude of post-hardcore to get to the dense and dark landscapes of post-metal. After years touring Spain, they released first album, entitled YO SOY EL MAR, in which from the title itself, telluric forces and elements of nature symbolize the most intense human emotions. SVDESTADA has just released their second album AZABACHE. A work stripped of colours, masks, and labels. Eleven songs about the lack of freedom, gregariousness, dogmatism, and falsehood that also immerse itself in deep pains such as abandonment, nostalgia, and loneliness. An album that issues a claim and a general appeal that advocates a return to the original rebellion of Punk, Hardcore and Do It Yourself. Entirely recorded, mixed, and mastered by Iván Ferro in Kollapse Stvdio, “AZABACHE" has been co-released by 12 labels around the world.
