Biography

Magnus Haven is a 5-piece Filipino alternative rock band. The band members envision their music to be the great sanctuary (as what Magnus Haven literally translates to) of those who love and long for the original alternative rock songs. They compose and arrange their own songs - like any bonafide musicians, in which the theme range from the happy and deeper shade of Blue. The band recorded the songs ‘Imahe’, ‘Kapalmuks’, ‘Panalangin’, 'Landas', 'Multo' and 'Santuwaryo', which has been digitally distributed by Warner Music Philippines and available now on Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music. The band released their first Christmas song, ‘NOEL’ and recently released a new single, 'Rosas' under Viva Records. They are now in the thick preparation of recording their new songs. Although typically millennials – as their ages range from 20 to 25 years – their music is so “rich and transcendental” giving them the capacity to appeal also to older generations. The band appeared and performed live on several TV and radio programs as well as campus tours and other gigs, e.g. Unang Hirit, Wowowin, iWant ASAP, Myx Philippines, Tee Radio, MOR 101.9, Radyo Agila, Coke Studios, GMA Playlist, Wish 107.5, Play FM, Home Radio, etc.
