Inge van Calkar, voted best artist in the North at ESNS 2021 and nominated for a BUMA award in 2022 releases a mesmerizing winter ballad. With a soulful, cool way of singing that is reminiscent of Annie Lennox's I saved the world today and repetitive, hypnotic guitar playing that would also fit on a song by The War on Drugs or the White Lies, the singer presents herself in a new style. ‘When recording this song we went back to using real instruments and less electronica.
