Biography
Adopting the term “musically fluid”, James Bambu puts a progressive, yet nostalgic twist on traditional R&B. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he began very early on with curating his own path in the world of music as an Alternative R&B singer. In pursuit of furthering his sonic quest, James relocated to Brooklyn, New York where he began releasing music in 2016. James has gained a devoted following for his honest storytelling, unique vocals, and transparency about his creative, and robustly visual, journey. He has continued to persevere through the obstacles he has faced as an unapologetically authentic artist, but is determined to make a name for himself to break down barriers for the future of R&B, while telling his story through his music.
