Biography

Olvido emerged in 2006 in Girona (Catalunya- Spain), from a diversity of rock and metal influences, with a characteristic metal stile, mixing dark atmospheres, with twisted vocal melodies, and Gothic, with black metal passages too. The lyrics talk about feelings of love, heartbreak, companionship, solitude, and introspection, mystic visions, metaphors, prophecies, and anything mysterious or awaiting to be revealed. Similar artist could be Type O Negative, Moonspell, Tiamat, To/Die/For, Paradise Lost, Lacrimas Profundere, or Dimmu Borgir... During teen years , the band had tourned most of the regions across Spain, sharing stage with international bands like the Germans Lacrimas Profundere, or the Swedes Liv Sin or Grand Magus. DISCOGRAPHY: In 2007 their self named unofficial demo is recorded. Neurosis de Destino (2010) is the debut album, perhaps less extreme than successors releases, recorded at Music Lan Studios, postproduced in "Studio Fredman" Sweden. Luto (2013) is a conceptual album, that focuses on the five stages of grief (Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance). Recorded at Music Lan, and produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa at the Yellow House Studio of Finland. CupidoIMors (2016) is a double LP, recorded at Music Lan. The side one, was produced by Cube Studio & Alberto Seara. The other side is an experiment of Olvido, Electro-Acoustic, ambient and minimalist, closely related to dark folk, ethereal wave, or world music.
