Biography

Haleluya Tekletsadik is an Ethiopian singer-songwriter born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She started singing at the age of 7 at school carnivals and partaking in the vocal competitions, developed her skill, and performed with a Hasset Acoustics band. She gained the attention of the former manager of the legendary singers of Gigi and Teddy Afro to audition for Jano's band. Halle became one of the founding members of the Jano band. Together they introduced the first rock-fused genre to the Ethiopian music industry. She has produced two albums and several singles. In 2020, after ten years, she decided to choose a solo career. Released three singles; Kante Gar, Tetefafan, and band Gojo. International project Halle has collaborated with her long-time workmate Hewan Gebrewold and the French Jazz musician Théo Ceccaldi. They set out to make their impression upon their generation by introducing their country's music to the world and founded a band known as KUTU.[1] Kutu is also an album with ten songs, five songs from hale, and five from Hewi. As music's acceptance is dependent on each country's taste. In light of French's music industry culture, they performed live at 26 concerts in  French and Switzerland and two shows in Africa's Sudan and Addis Ababa before the album was even released.
